Excitement is really, really building about this project. This weekend we should receive some press; I'll report about it when I'm sure. One thing we're learning: this idea has some real wheels on it.In the meantime, we'll propose a little get-together. If you are interested in reading with us or possibly using the book in a class (if you're a teacher) then come join us at 5:30 at the Varsity in downtown Fort Smith--just a few hundred yards from where some of the book takes place--on Wednesday, September 30th. We'll meet, have a libation, and share some ideas.

After reading the blogs that you have posted and talking a lot about the novel in class with Dr. Monica Luebke, It has been a long time since I have actually been excited about reading a novel that I have no prior knowledge about. I can honestly see that Dr. Monica is also excited about the whole project as well, and it is safe to say she definetly “got grit.” It is awesome that the University wants to take part in these extra activities, they all sound so great. Like you said in this blog, “this idea has some real wheels on it.” Keep up the good work.
